Day 01: Thiruvananthapuram
Upon arrival our representative will pick you up and transfer to a beach resort at Kovalam. You will have rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast we will take you on a city tour of Trivandrum/ Thiruvananthapuram. Overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 03: Kovalam
You will have full day to relax at the wonderful tropical beach and later set out for fishing with local fishermen on traditional kattamaran. You will also have the option of rejuvenating yourself with the much acclaimed Ayurveda treatment.
Day 04: Alleppey
Drive through green coastal belt and cashew plantations and reach Alleppey- the central hub of Kerala backwaters. Stay in a traditional Kerala house opening right over the Vembanad Lake surrounded by banana plantations. You will have the rest of the day free to relax with the option of herbal oil massage. Day 05: Alleppey
After breakfast you will spend the most of the day closely watching the backwaters and lifestyle of the local people. You will also visit the coir-making factory, a temple and bathe the elephants at elephant rearing center.
Day 06: Kumarakom
Sail through the backwater canals and reach Kumarakom- an island with a beautiful bird-sanctuary and extremely serene atmosphere. Upon reaching Kumarakom you will transfer to hotel/resort. Overnight stay will be at the hotel/resort
Day 07: Kumarakom
You will have rest of the day free to relax and explore around. Overnight stay will be at the resort/hotel.
Day 08: Kumarakom - Periyar
Drive through rubber plantations and forested mountains and finally reach the Periyar National Park, one of the wonderful wildlife sanctuaries in India, to see wild elephants. You will have the rest of the day free to explore on own. Overnight stay will be at the hotel at Periyar.
Day 09: Periyar
After breakfast you will visit the Periyar National Park on boat over Periyar Lake where several wild animals congregate at different times. Overnight stay will be at the resort.
Day 10: Periyar - Munnar
After a picturesque drive through jungles, waterfalls and spice plantations, reach the high ranges of Munnar, the highest and the most beautiful tea growing region in the world. You can also visit the tea estate and factory after some leisure.
Day 11: Munnar
After breakfast you will visit the Eravikkulam National Park to see the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and other wildlife. Rest of the day will be free to visit some beautiful spots around Munnar. Overnight stay will be at Munnar.
Day12: Munnar - Kochi/ Cochin
After breakfast you will drive to Kochi, the cultural and commercial hub of Kerala. Watch a spectacular Kathakali performance along with its make-up process. In the evening you will be free to explore the market in Cochin. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Cochin.
Day13: Kochi/ Cochin
After breakfast you will go for a day sightseeing at Fort Kochi. You will also visit the Mattancherry palace, Jewish synagogue, Jew town, old spice markets, St. Francis church, Santa Cruz Basilica and Chinese fishing nets. In the evening visit Kalari center to witness Kalaripayattu, the ancient Kerala martial art.
Day14: Kochi/Cochin Onwards
It is time to say goodbye to Kerala as your Kerala spice tour comes to an end. Our representative will transfer you to railway station/airport for onward journey

Day 01 Thattekad
On arrival at Cochin you will be given a traditional welcome & our representative will transfer you to Thattekkadu. Overnight at Hornbill Camp.
Day 02 Thattekad
Thattekad is a lowland forest area of about 25 sq. km. and very rich in bird life and easy to spot. One can expect broad-billed roller, chestnut bittern, grey-headed fish eagle, orange-breasted green pigeon, spot-bellied eagle owl, brown fish owl, mottled wood owl, sri lankan frogmouth, great-eared nightjar, malabar trogon, malabar grey hornbill. In the evening proceed to the watch-tower for night birding. Overnight at Hornbill Camp.
Day 03 Munnar
Depart for Munnar, the hill station and tea town. Munnar is a combination of rolling grasslands and shola forests (high altitude montane forests). Weather is cool throughout the year. Chances of seeing 15 of the 16 endemics is very high at Munnar. Afternoon birding at Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park) and the sholas en-route. One can expect to see black baza, painted bush quail, nilgiri woodpigeon, red-rumped swallow, yellow-throated bulbul, black & orange flycatcher, grey-breasted laughing thrush, nilgiri pipit, white-bellied shortwing, white-rumped needletail. Overnight at the resort.
Day 04 Munnar-Manavan Shola-Marayur
Early morning drive to Manavan Shola (1 hour), a pristine shola and Asia's largest. Lunch at Manavan Shola. Return by evening. Overnight at the resort
Day 05 Periyar National Park
After Breakfast, proceed to Thekkady. On arrival by noon, check in at the hotel. The most renowned destination is the PERIYAR WILDLIFE SANCTUARY at Thekkady. Here is the natural habitat of Elephant, tiger, bison, spotted and samba deer, gaur, etc. The sanctuary is open throughout the year. Evening Game viewing by motorized boat at Periyar Lake.Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 06 Periyar National Park
Birding at Periyar National Park. Thick forests and open grasslands dominate this region and is home to over 360 species of birds. One can expect wayanad laughing thrush, oriental darter, wooly-necked stork, rufous-bellied eagle, grey junglefowl, pompadour green pigeon, malabar parakeet, great hornbill, vernal hanging parrot, grey nightjar, malabar grey hornbill. Day 07 Kumarakom
After breakfast proceed to Kumarakom. Kumarakom is an unbelievably beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lines. Situated on the Vembanad Lake, is this small water world you'll come across plenty of traditional country crafts, boats and canoes which will take you into the heart of the scenic lake. Day 1: Cochin/Kochi

Day 3: Munnar - Periyar
In the morning you will proceed to Periyar visiting Idukki dam on the way. Upon arrival you will check in at hotel. The Periyar wildlife sanctuary is home to many nomadic tribes of wild elephant, boar, deer, the great Indian tiger etc. In the evening you will go for a boat cruise in the lake and watch wild animals. Overnight stay will be at resort/hotel in Periyar.
Day 4: Periyar
In the morning, you will be taken for boating through Periyar Lake and Wildlife sanctuary. You can visit the rare species of plants and animals. Afternoon visit spice plantations like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea estates etc. on your way back to the hotel, you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight stay will be at Periyar.
Day 5: Periyar - Kumarakom
In the morning you will proceed to Kumarakom. Upon reaching Kumarakom you will visit the Bird Sanctuary and then proceed to the Vembanand Lake. Backwaters are a network of lakes, canals and estuaries and deltas of rivers that drain into the Arabian Sea. Overnight stay will be at the Houseboat.
Day 6: House Boat Cruise
You will get to see closely the lifestyle of the rural folks of Kerala and also enjoy the natural beauty while sailing through the Kerala backwaters. Stay overnight in the Houseboat.
Day 7: Alleppey
You will disembark the houseboat at the backwater resort and check into the same. Overnight will be at the resort in Alleppey.
Day 8: Cohin/Kochi
